Jazz for Peace – 24.11.2025 & 15.12.2025 at Markthalle Basel

After the first Jazz for Peace concert in October, the series continued with two more performances at Markthalle Basel on the 24th of November and the 15th of December 2025.

In collaboration with Markthalle Basel, Christophe Schneider, and the musician collective Jazz for Peace, these concerts were brought to life by talented young musicians from Jazzcampus Basel. Each evening was dedicated to raising funds for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.

The second concert, on the 24th of November 2025, featured Vladyslav Hrudnitskyi on piano, Gianni Narduzzi on contrabass, and Yosuke Doki on drums. The evening included a full concert followed by a jam session with additional musicians.

The third concert, on the 15th of December 2025, showcased Illya Alabuzhev on bass, Ksenia Slobodian on piano, and Yosuke Doki on drums. This performance marked the final event of the 2025 Jazz for Peace series and was also followed by a jam session.

Across all three concerts, CHF 1’333 was raised in donations, with all proceeds going to Haliciana Schola Cantorum.
